Turning Tragedy into the Most Beautiful and Compelling Art
Art is so beautiful; it breaks every barrier and obstacle in its course and turns tragedy into beauty. I learned as much from a beautiful girl named Veronika, whom I met through the Czech Fund Of Art Foundation during one of my trips to the Czech Republic.
This talented painter channels her experiences in handicapped dating unto the canvas and the results are riveting works of art filled with feeling and emotion.
Veronika was studying Law in Prague but an unfortunate accident left her wheelchair bound, but she found an escape from her handicap through art, enrolled in Art School and discovered a hidden talent. Her boyfriend broke up with her after the accident, leaving her heart broken and devastated, so art became therapy to her.
Transitioning from regular dating to handicapped dating was no easy feat, and this was channeled into her art as well, resulting in a series of incredible paintings that are now permanently exposed in several art galleries throughout Prague! Veronika is a true example of resilience and artistic genius, and I feel blessed with having had the chance to meet her.
